Our Competition group has unparalleled experience and expertise in abuse of dominance matters having acted as counsel in the only fully contested abuse of dominance case to be decided by the Competition Tribunal in over a decade. Members of our practice also successfully negotiated the settlement of one of the most recent abuse of dominance cases to be brought by the Commissioner of Competition against the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).

We regularly advise clients on compliance with Canada's abuse of dominance provisions and have managed numerous Bureau investigations for our clients. We have also assisted clients harmed by the anti-competitive practices of other parties by advocating on their behalf for the Bureau to take remedial action, including initiating proceedings before the Competition Tribunal.
